Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent support staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector.

Our client, an established Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Practice based at Hamilton is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Patient Liaison to join their established long-term team. The role is full-time – normal office hours 8.30am-5pm (some flexibility to meet patient needs required). One day per fortnight is at North Lakes and the remainder of the week at Hamilton. The day at North Lakes varies with the Surgeon’s roster.
Skills required:
  • Previous Medical Receptionist experience preferred
  • Medical Software experience essential (Genie or similar ideal)
  • Experience running busy clinics and triaging patient inquiries in a Specialist Practice
  • Surgical Specialist experience highly desirable
  • Exceptional patient care
Attributes sought:
  • Highly driven self motivated and experienced candidate who is able to work effectively as part of a small established team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – a natural ability to make patients feel at ease both on the phone and in person
  • Committed to a career as a Medical Receptionist
  • Ability to multitask and take ownership of the tasks at hand and assist with excellent patient care
  • Proficiency in the day to day running of patient clinics as well as experience with surgical quoting, billing and bookings is desirable
  • Reliable, punctual and well presented
Remuneration: 
$ 30-36 per hour permanent (negotiable) plus Super. Parking is usually available in this high density area in side streets around the practice.
