Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent Support Staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector.
Our client, an established Specialist Practice located in Auchenflower (Wesley Hospital campus) is actively seeking to appoint an experienced Medical Receptionist. This is a full-time position working 8.5 hours each day Monday to Friday (9 day fortnight) for a large group practice with multiple Specialists. Limited face to face patient contact – all via phone. This role will commence early January 2026.
This role will suit candidates with the following experience:
- Medical Receptionist experience in a Specialist Practice
- Diary Management and admin duties
- Liaising with third party referrers and practitioners involved with patient care (eg. Educators, car providers)
- File Management and Medical Receptionist duties as required.
To be considered, we are seeking applications from candidates who offer:
- Minimum 1 year in a General/Specialist Practice/Allied Health Medical Receptionist experience within a Private Practice
- Experience using medical software for patient bookings (this practice has Meditrust)
- High level communication skills and excellent phone technique
- Team player
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.5 hours each day – Hours between 8am-5pm (9 day fortnight).
Commencement Date: Commencing January 2026.
Salary: Commensurate with Skills but expected to commence at $32-35/hr permanent plus Super permanent (Negotiable).
