Medical Receptionist

Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent Support Staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector.

Our client, an established multi surgeon Plastic Surgery Practice is actively seeking to appoint a Medical Receptionist to join their team. This role will be supported by a long term Practice Manager, Admin and Clinical staff and offers the opportunity to learn the Plastic Surgery field. This is a full-time position working 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.00pm on Friday. However, applicants seeking part-time (4 days) will also be considered. This role will mostly be based in their Valley location, but may also requires attending a clinic at North Lakes on a weekly basis. Both sites offer FREE car parking.

This role will suit candidates with the following experience:

• Medical Receptionist experience ideal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Microsoft Suite, Teams, Adobe, Docusign (we love our IT)
• Customer service experience
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience in Skin/Dermatology or Plastics or an interest in this field is ideal.

To be considered, we are seeking applications from candidates who offer:

• Minimum 1 year in a Medical Receptionist role
• Experience using Microsoft suite
• Previous experience in Diary management will be viewed favourably
• Advanced customer service skills and enthusiasm for health and aesthetics
• Attention to detail and time management

Hours:  This is a full-time position working 8.30am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.00pm on Friday. 4 days per week also considered (Busiest days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

Commencement Date: ASAP! However, this is a long-term opportunity, and we are seeking the right person to join our team.

Salary:  Above award wages will be offered dependant on level of experience and or age under Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
